Today, 20 January 2026, the École Nationale Supérieure de l’Administration (ENSA) marked a new milestone in strengthening institutional cooperation between Morocco and India with the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding with the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) and the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA).
On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Sanjay Rana, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Morocco, accompanied by his delegation, was received by Ms. Nada BIAZ, Director General of ENSA, as well as by the School’s Directors. This meeting gave rise to in-depth bilateral discussions on the overall prospects for cooperation between the partner institutions of both countries signatory to the agreements.
During this visit, His Excellency Mr. Sanjay Rana also wrote a message in ENSA’s Guest Book, commending this strategic initiative and reaffirming the shared commitment to consolidating the Morocco–India partnership in the field of public governance and administration.
The signing ceremony, organized in a hybrid format, was preceded by respective addresses. Ms. Nada Biaz, Director General of ENSA, emphasized that these agreements are fully aligned with the School’s vision and represent a major opportunity to strengthen the capacities of public executives in both countries through such structuring partnerships.
For his part, His Excellency Mr. Sanjay Rana highlighted the importance of this institutional rapprochement, stating that these Memoranda of Understanding reflect the depth of relations between Morocco and India and open new avenues for collaboration in training, research, and expertise sharing.
From India, Mr. Surendrakumar Bagde, Director General of NCGG, welcomed this cooperation with ENSA, noting that NCGG stands ready to share its experience in good governance, administrative transformation, and capacity-building in support of a more efficient and innovative public administration.
Subsequently, Mr. Surendra Nath Tripathi, Director General of IIPA, expressed his commitment to working closely with ENSA to develop joint training programs, applied research initiatives, and the exchange of best practices, thereby contributing to the development of modern and effective public governance.
These Memoranda of Understanding thus pave the way for joint training programs, expertise exchange, applied research, and the sharing of best practices, contributing to the development of an innovative, high-performing, and citizen-centered public administration.
